Presciense Grows in Manchester
Presciense has started 2017 strongly, with a new address in Manchester, new employees and a capital injection. Over the past year, Presciense has progressed from refining proofs of concept to rolling out products. The revenue from paying customers and a recent substantial financial investment demonstrate confidence in Presciense’s business model, as well as its technology and its ability to deliver.
The early successes of Presciense were supported in part by Barclays who provided a dedicated office at Rise, their accelerator space in Manchester. However, the rapid growth of Presciense was evident in the ever greater volume of equipment required to develop, test and demonstrate solutions. To meet customer demand and further develop its service capabilities, Presciense has recruited additional employees. As three-quarters of the team are directly involved in software and hardware development, Presciense required new premises to comfortably accommodate its growing needs.
It has always been important that the work environment meets the standards required by a leading-edge technology company, and the well-equipped new office ensures that Presciense maintains their proven ability to deliver. The spacious workplace in Manchester’s thriving business district will support further planned expansion in Quarter 2.
Presciense has strong ties to Manchester and everyone finds the city a great place to work, where young, innovative companies are welcome. The excellent transport links benefit all members of the team, as well as visitors and customers. The fact that Manchester is home to groundbreaking and successful tech companies, which in turn sustains a pool of talented, imaginative problem solvers, also makes remaining in the city a sound business decision.
